What should you expect?

Consultation

Before the procedure, the technician would like to discuss your expectations to achieve the brows you desire. We will discuss details such as color, shape, and thickness, to determine and create the perfect customized brows for you. We want our clients to be as satisfied as possible, so please don’t be afraid to ask any questions you have for us! Reference photos are a plus, as it gives us an idea of the style of brows you’d like.

Numbing

We will sanitize your brows and apply a topical numbing cream (lidocaine). It will be left on for approximately 20 minutes, which gives enough time to fully numb the area. We work to ensure the procedure is as pain-free as possible. We can add more numbing cream during the procedure, so please don’t be afraid to tell us if you are feeling any discomfort or pain.

Brow Mapping & Design

Once the numbing cream has set in, we will proceed with mapping out the design of your brows. The design is done with precision to ensure you can see the detailed outline and inform us if you are not satisfied with something. Once you are satisfied with the shape and symmetry, we will go ahead and begin the procedure.

Microblading Procedure

(1st Session)

Your brows are numb, so the technician will begin the microblading procedure. The artist will use hair-like strokes by hand, which will match your natural brow hair. This method allows your brows to look as natural and realistic as possible. Your brows will be thicker and fuller without looking over-filled.

Aftercare

We will provide you with an aftercare cream and a set of instructions to take home with you. You only need to apply a pea-sized amount of the aftercare cream to each brow. This will help with any irritation you may experience. Please do not scratch or pick any scabs as it will delay the healing process. We also do not recommend any vigorous exercise or sauna for a few days. Sweating may irritate your skin or possibly push some ink out.

Touch-Up

We don’t consider the microblading procedure fully done until you come back for a touch-up. Your brows will take approximately a month to fully heal; therefore, we recommend the second visit to be 1-2 months after the initial procedure. After the first session, your brows may slightly fade. Therefore, this gives us the chance to add extra strokes and possibly make minor changes if you’d like. Once both sessions are complete, we recommend clients to get their brows re-done after a year or so.

Touch-Up Renewal

(after 1 year)

Clients like to come back for another microblading session approximately after a year. We call this a microblading renewal. It's not required, but recommended if you'd like to continue to keep your brows freshly microbladed. It will cost less if you come for a renewal instead of waiting for more than a year, and start all over again with the regular microblading procedure.
